The iconic Kenworth Legends Lunch is held at the Australian Trucking Association’s (ATA) Trucking Australia Conference each year, sure to draws tears, laughter and endless applause as transport greats are celebrated.
Typically colourful characters, the Kenworth Legends are operators the Bayswater manufacturer recognises as long-standing customers and icons of the road transport industry – of which there is no shortage.
This year, Dave and Kevin Murada who own and operate Metal Transport Industries were celebrated on-stage for their achievements across 45 successful years in the road transport industry.
There was no shortage of banter as the duo were interviewed in front of a large crowd of transport operators and industry players, with more than a few uncensored answers sneaking their way into the chat from the no-nonsense Kenworth Legends.
As you would expect from two brothers who have been in the game for nearly five decades, they had plenty of stories to tell as they reminisced on the good ol’ days.
