Foton and Evie partner for financial year charging offer

Foton Mobility Distribution has partnered with charging provider Evie Networks to offer an end of financial year (EFOY) deal for buyers of its all-electric Foton T5 EV.

Customers who place an order on a T5 EV before June 30 this year will receive a $3,000 Evie Networks voucher, for use at 230 public charging stations around the country.

The voucher is the equivalent to around 10,000km of driving, according to Foton, offering serious value for operators that rely on a combination of back-to-base and occasional public charging.

“We are excited to introduce this EOFY incentive, offering our customers additional value through the $3,000 Evie public charging voucher,” Foton Mobility Distribution CEO, Neil Wang said.

For Evie Networks, this is the firm’s first foray into commercial vehicle partnership but one CEO Chris Mills says is a step in the right direction.
