The 2025 Brisbane Truck Show will host the latest trucks from around the world, from clean Euro 6 combustion runners to hydrogen fuel cell (HFC) and electric models set for silent operation.
Here is our roundup of the trucks you can expect to see at this year’s Brisbane Truck Show, from the world’s leading manufacturers, in no particular order.
Volvo
Volvo Trucks is poised to once again capture attention at the upcoming 2025 Brisbane Truck Show, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to both performance and sustainability.
Building on its established Euro 6 range and pioneering battery-electric models, Volvo is expected to unveil significant advancements across its range.
A key highlight will be its recently-introduced 17.3-litre D17 engine, which is now Australia’s most powerful, delivering a staggering 780hp and 3,800Nm, with Mack Trucks also using a variant of the engine.
Beyond the ever-evolving diesel options on show, Volvo will likely showcase its electric lineup, including FE, FL, FM, and the heavy-duty FH Electric.
The FH Electric is now available with an optional Aero cab, emphasising aerodynamic efficiency for long-haul applications, and we expect to see the new cabin design in the flesh at this year’s show
Volvo’s presence at the show will underscore its continued drive to innovate in both conventional and zero-emission trucking solutions.

Isuzu
Isuzu Trucks will reveal its all-new Euro 6 N- and F-Series models at the 2025 Brisbane Truck Show, in what will be the first public outing of the range.
A total of 11 Isuzu vehicles will be on the stand, alongside a comprehensive display of Power Solutions products, including the premium industrial power generation range.
Isuzu’s new stand layout will also incorporate a plenary stage where visitors can hear directly from product experts about the new truck range, which includes not only a new look but also a range of safety and technological advancements.
“The Brisbane Truck Show is one of those industry events that everyone looks forward to with anticipation, and I know for sure that the entire team from Isuzu can’t wait to showcase the new range at its first public outing,” said Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) Head of Marketing & Customer Experience, John Walker.
“We’re holding nothing back for this year’s event. We have our brand new 2025 model range, which will be on its first full public outing, and to showcase our new models in appropriate style, we’ve built an all-new stand with features catering to the full breadth of the Isuzu offer.”

Daimler
Daimler Truck Australia is set to present the latest innovations from Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner, and Fuso at this year’s Brisbane Truck Show.
Mercedes-Benz will likely highlight its ongoing emissions leadership, building on its Euro 6 Actros range and pioneering safety technology like lane-keep assist and the revolutionary MirrorCam.
The truckmaker may also offer a glimpse of the recently unveiled European Actros L, with its aerodynamic ProCabin, which offers fuel-saving benefits for operators.
On the lighter end of the spectrum, Fuso is likely to roll out Canter models that may include the all-electric eCanter. Fuso’s eCanter is in its second model generation, highlighting just how long the Japanese brand has been pushing in the electric space.

Scania
Scania, renowned for its powerful V8 engines, is set to showcase its commitment to a balanced future at the 2025 Brisbane Truck Show, highlighting both its diesel technology and electric models.
Of course, Scania will roll out its 770hp 16.4-litre V8 in the 770 CS 23, equipped with the latest advanced driver systems and serious long-haul comfort.
The brand is also likely to showcase its latest Euro 6 engine range, spearheaded by the all-new 13-litre six-cylinder ‘Super’ engine, which debuted in Australia in 2023. This innovative engine, featuring a first for Scania – double overhead camshafts (DOHC) – boasts potential fuel savings of up to eight percent.
The ‘Super’ six, available in power outputs from 420hp to 560hp and up to 2,800Nm of torque, is paired with Scania’s latest-generation Opticruise transmissions, engineered for optimal fuel efficiency.
Adding to the excitement, Scania is expected to unveil its next-generation 40 BEV electric truck model. This zero-emission vehicle promises around 400km of real-world range and will be available in both prime mover and rigid configurations, offering versatility across various applications.

Hyundai
Hyundai will showcase its commitment to diverse alternative fuel solutions, rolling out its XCIENT fuel cell truck at the 2025 Brisbane Truck Show.
The HFC truck is currently operating in New Zealand and has demonstrated its real-world capabilities across more than 100,000km of real-world use for NZ Post on New Zealand’s North Island.
Complementing the XCIENT will be Hyundai’s response to the growing last-mile freight sector: the MIGHTY Electric truck.
This battery-electric vehicle offers a practical range of up to 200km and can be fast charged from eight to 100 percent in just over an hour, with a quick 20-minute top-up providing an additional 100km of range.
Hyundai’s display promises a glimpse into the future of both heavy-duty and light commercial electric and hydrogen-powered transport solutions for the Australian market.
