Allison Transmission is gearing up for a major presence at the 2025 Brisbane Truck Show, where it will highlight three of its top-performing models tailored for Australiaâs toughest industries and operating conditions.
Taking place from 15â18 May at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, the show will see Allison occupy Stand 96, where fleet managers and truck buyers will get a hands-on look at the companyâs latest transmission technology. Known globally for its fully automatic transmissions, Allison is a trusted partner to many leading truck brands and continues to dominate key medium- and heavy-duty market segments in Australia.
âHaving long dominated many of the hardworking market segments, Allisonâs medium and heavy-duty transmissions continue to roll into local fleets seeking a solid, consistent performance,â said Robert Cavagnino, Australian Sales Manager for Allison Transmission.
Designed to reduce driver fatigue and support consistent vehicle performance, Allisonâs transmissions are increasingly seen as a solution to local challenges such as driver shortages, stop-start congestion, and specialist applications including concrete delivery and firefighting. âProviding continuous power and easily serviced transmissions, Allisonâs fully automatics reduce headaches around driver shortages, provide quick take off in stop-start, city congestion, and enable drivers engaged in precise tasks⌠to focus on the job at hand,â added Cavagnino.
At the Brisbane Truck Show, Allison will display:
- A cutaway model of its innovative 9-Speed transmission, based on the 2000 Seriesâ˘, offering nine forward ranges and three overdrive gears. It delivers improved fuel economy and high performance in urban start-stop cycles with up to 380 hp.
- The 3000 Seriesâ˘, widely adopted for fleet use across distribution, refuse, utility, emergency services and transit sectors. It supports up to 450 hp and torque capacities up to 1,695 Nm.
- The 4000 Seriesâ˘, engineered for demanding heavy-duty tasks including mining, construction, energy and defence. This model accommodates up to 800 hp and 3,200 Nm of torque, making it ideal for high-output applications.
With growing pressure on transport businesses to boost efficiency and reduce emissions, Allison is positioning its products to support evolving fleet needs. âWe understand there is an increased focus regarding fleet efficiency and considering alternative fuel options to reduce emissions and weâre ready to innovate alongside our OEM partners and customers to provide solutions as needed,â Cavagnino said.
Fleet managers attending the Brisbane Truck Show are encouraged to visit Stand 96 to see firsthand how Allisonâs latest transmission technology is helping hard-working fleets across Australia get the job done with less stress and more productivity.
