The Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA) has announced the finalists in the Community Leadership category of its National Awards.
According to the HVIA, the award honours programs and projects run by its members that highlight the heavy vehicle industry as an essential, fundamental and generous part of every Australian community.
The 2024 finalists are:
- Eurocold
- Krueger
- Volvo Group Australia (UD Trucks Australia) (x2)
This year the HVIA, alongside Caltex who sponsor the award, will donate $2,000 to the winning community initiative.
The other HVIA National Awards categories include:
- Apprentice Technician of the Year Award
- Apprentice Trailer & Body Builder of the Year
- Heavy Vehicle Apprentice of the Year
- Community Leadership Award
- Product Innovation Award
- Safety Innovation Award
The HVIA National Awards Gala Dinner will take place in Brisbane on Thursday 5 December, and tickets can be purchased here.
