Isuzu’s off-highway engine brand Isuzu Power Solutions (IPS) has seen industry expert Troy Lawson promoted to the position of National Sales Manager.
Well-respected within the capital equipment sector, Troy Lawson brings over 25 years of industry experience to his new role as National Sales Manager for IPS.
Like many in Isuzu Australia management ranks, Mr Lawson has a highly technical background, with an extensive history in power generation and marine equipment sales—cutting his teeth as a field service technician back in 1997.
He joined IPS in 2019 as Sales Manager for South Australia and New South Wales and now based at the IAL Head Office in Truganina, Melbourne, Mr Lawson is stepping up to lead the sales team.
Customers will continue to be fully supported on the ground with the help of IPS Zone Sales Manager Scott Lewis (Western Australia, South Australia and Norther Territory) and Sales Manager John Robinson (Queensland and New South Wales), with further engineering support offered from IAL’s Head Office.
Mr Lawson said that he was “looking forward to all the challenges of the new position” adding that his focus will remain on supporting operators in need of power solutions with greater efficiencies, lower running costs, and quality after sales support.
“We work in a highly competitive market, but there are very few that can offer the ‘complete package’ for businesses like Isuzu can,” said Mr Lawson.
“This is due to the expansive range of engines, power units and generators that Isuzu has to offer, plus the peace of mind that it is supported by our dealer network across Australia and New Zealand.
“A big focus will be to keep developing that great all-round ownership experience for customers, which our dealer network plays a vital role in delivering across the country.”
IAL Head of Sales, Craig White, congratulated Mr Lawson’s efforts and promotion to the new role, noting his contribution to the success of the IPS brand over the past five years.
“Troy has achieved excellent results for us, and his the off-highway engine business is of enormous benefit to Isuzu and importantly, the dealer network and the customers they support,” said Mr White.
“He brings the right mix of industry experience and a real depth of technical knowledge to the role of National Sales Manager that will continue to shape the IPS brand and operation.”
Mr Lawson said IPS would continue to provide “end-to-end support” for Australian businesses.
“We’re proud to offer the same consistency of service that has been enjoyed by thousands of truck customers and utilise the expertise of our engineers who are working side-by-side with the dealers under the Isuzu banner,” said Mr Lawson.
“This ensures customers get exactly what they need, no matter the size of the engine or application, with the added bonus of saving time and money.
“Consider us your one-stop shop for transport and power solutions.”
IPS forms an integral part of Isuzu Australia Limited’s (IAL) product offering, providing sales and aftersales services for a range of free-standing power units, generator sets, industrial engines and marine units.
