The AirTouch 500 roars into Shell V-Power Motorsport Park on 12–14 September, launching the return of the Supercars Enduro Cup and delivering a world-first double billing where high-octane racing meets festival energy.
For the first time anywhere in the world, the FIA Kumho TCR World Tour and Repco Supercars Championship will share the same event program, a global-first pairing that’s set to make history in South Australia.
Supercars Enduro Cup Opener
Sunday’s 500km Supercars endurance race will see 27 cars and 54 drivers—each paired with a co-driver—battle it out over 100 laps of The Bend’s 4.95km international circuit. As the opening round of the Enduro Cup and the only lead-in to the Bathurst 1000, this is where strategy meets speed, and reputations are forged.
Alistair MacDonald, CEO of Shell V-Power Motorsport Park, described it as the race that sets the tone for Bathurst:
“The endurance format, the pressure, the pairing of co-drivers—it’s where the stakes really start to climb. And with the TCR World Tour here as well, you’ve got factory-backed international teams competing on Australian soil. It’s a motorsport dream ticket.”
Festival of Racing and Entertainment
Three days of racing action kick off Friday with extended Supercars practice and qualifying, full-field TCR races, and support categories including Porsche Carrera Cup, Touring Car Masters, Trico Trans Am Series, and Battery World Aussie Racing Cars.
Beyond the track, the precinct will be alive with entertainment from dawn to dusk. Fans can look forward to:
- Paul Bennet’s Aerial Stunt Shows
- STEMzone and The Bend Kartdrome
- Auto Alley car displays
- Live music all day and night
- POWRi ‘Micros on the Murray’ dirt-track racing at the Dragway Live Action Arena
- Saturday night’s ‘Sing It Live’ concert at Podium Park, followed by a headline DJ
The Bend remains the only Supercars venue outside Bathurst to offer true trackside camping. Nearly 3,000 fans will roll out swags beside the track, with limited sites available.
“There’s nothing like waking up to the roar of Supercars—camping here gives fans a front-row seat for the entire weekend,” said MacDonald.
Whether you’re chasing endurance racing, cheering on the TCR World Tour, or looking for an unforgettable family adventure, the AirTouch 500 at The Bend delivers on every level.
