Supercars fans heading to CARCO.com.au Raceway this weekend are in for a bright surprise, with David Reynolds set to hit the track in a bold new pink livery as part of a promotional push for TRADIE Energy’s Creamy Soda drink. The eye-catching colour change marks the start of a four-round campaign for the #20 TRADIE Energy Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and aligns with one of the most significant milestones in Supercars history — Perth’s 100th Championship race.
The livery shift from TRADIE Energy’s trademark fluro yellow to vibrant pink was unveiled in a light-hearted video featuring Reynolds swapping energy drink cans at an APCO Service Station before revealing the pinked-out Camaro. The refresh coincides with the brand’s broader marketing push across its expanding energy drink range, bringing a splash of fun to the grid in the process.
Speaking ahead of the event, Reynolds said, “I’ve got a pink car this weekend — it’s a brand-new livery for the Creamy Soda TRADIE Energy flavour, which is always cool and exciting. It’s very bright, so you won’t miss me on the track!”
This weekend’s Perth Super440 at CARCO.com.au Raceway — also known as Wanneroo — kicks off a high-stakes stretch of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship, with teams adjusting to the newly introduced soft and super soft tyre compounds. The track, a short and technical 2.42km circuit, has been a fixture on the calendar since 1973 and is known for tight, action-packed racing that demands precision from both drivers and engineers.
Reynolds, no stranger to success in Perth, is keen to capitalise on momentum following a solid showing in Tasmania. “It’s a good track — quite small and basic in layout — but getting everything right is tricky. We had some ups and downs last year, but finished strong. This year, I think we’ve got a good starting base, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the new soft tyre performs across the races.”
Team 18’s Anton De Pasquale, piloting the #18 DEWALT Racing Camaro, is equally energised heading into the milestone event. After a frustrating run in Tasmania, De Pasquale is focused on clean execution in qualifying to set himself up for a competitive weekend.
“Excited to head to Perth for the hundredth Supercar race at Wanneroo! It’s always a great event — good weather, great atmosphere,” said De Pasquale. “We’ve got some strong ideas heading into the weekend and the layout is similar to Tassie in terms of lap length and consequences for mistakes. Maximising each lap in qualifying will be key to running up the front.”
The weekend format sees action begin on Friday with two 30-minute practice sessions. Saturday’s schedule includes dual knockout qualifying from 9:45am followed by a pair of 50-lap sprint races, one of which will run on the new super soft compound. Sunday features a standard qualifying session at 11:00am, the always-dramatic Top Ten Shootout at 1:05pm, and the marquee 83-lap, 200km Race 16 at 3:15pm.
Fans can catch the entire Perth Super440 weekend live on Fox Sports and Kayo. Check local listings for full broadcast details.
With Reynolds’ pink Camaro sure to grab attention and both drivers focused on strong results, Team 18 heads to Western Australia ready to turn heads on and off the track.
