IVECO Trucks Australia made a strong impression at the 2025 Brisbane Truck Show (BTS), marking 50 years of innovation with a diverse line-up that demonstrated the brand’s breadth across light, medium, and heavy-duty transport solutions. The stand featured new technology, sustainable transport options, and heavy vocational workhorses — reinforcing IVECO’s position as a full-line supplier for Australian fleets.
Eurocargo ML140 Made Its Australian Debut
One of the key highlights was the Australian debut of the next-generation Eurocargo ML140. Already a top-seller in the European medium-duty segment, the updated Eurocargo featured a redesigned cabin with enhanced safety, comfort and automation. It set a new benchmark for the category and drew interest from fleet buyers seeking a refined yet practical medium-duty platform.
eDaily Demonstrated Electric Capability
IVECO also demonstrated its push towards zero-emission transport with the eDaily 42S van — a fully electric model already being trialled by prominent Australian fleets. The eDaily is powered by a 140kW/400Nm electric motor and a 77kWh dual battery system, scalable up to 156kWh, providing a range of over 300km. Available in both van and cab chassis configurations, the eDaily attracted attention from fleet managers exploring low-emission last-mile delivery options.
Daily Cab Chassis Retained Its Market Appeal
Also featured was the Daily 70C cab chassis (7.2t GVM), which maintained its reputation as Australia’s best-selling European cab chassis, according to TIC industry data. Known for its robust build and flexibility, the Daily remained a favourite for trades and services requiring payload capacity without stepping into heavy vehicle licence requirements.
Heavy-Duty Line-Up Led by S-Way and ACCO
IVECO brought a trio of 550hp S-Way variants to BTS, showcasing prime mover and rigid tipper configurations. These models highlighted the platform’s adaptability across freight and construction applications. Of particular note was the new 90-tonne GCM variant, now available on application, broadening the S-Way’s appeal for demanding linehaul operations.
The legendary ACCO also returned to the show floor, fitted with a side-loader refuse collection body. As a popular choice in waste and construction sectors, the ACCO was also displayed in its 8×4 format, suited to hooklift and front-loader applications. Its local engineering and adaptability reinforced its status as a vocational workhorse.
Statement from IVECO Managing Director
Glen Dyer, Managing Director of IVECO Trucks Australia, described the stand as a milestone celebration of innovation and customer focus.
“We were thrilled to bring a dynamic vehicle line-up to this year’s Brisbane Truck Show. From our game-changing electric eDaily to the new Eurocargo making its Aussie debut, and our latest heavy range models, there was plenty for showgoers to see and experience,” Mr Dyer said.
“This was more than just a display – it was a celebration of IVECO’s 50 years of commitment to innovation, sustainability, and meeting the real-world needs of our customers.”
