Team 18 has revealed a vibrant new livery for Anton De Pasquale’s #18 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, with Cub Cadet stepping up as naming rights partner for the Ipswich Super440, Gold Coast 500 and Sandown 500.
The striking yellow design will debut at Queensland Raceway on August 8-10 and will carry through to two of the most high-profile events on the Supercars calendar — the Gold Coast street race and Sandown endurance round.
This bold new look is the result of a collaboration between Cub Cadet and DEWALT, both part of the Stanley Black & Decker family. While DEWALT remains a key supporter — prominently featured on the roof and rear quarter panel — Cub Cadet now takes centre stage across three pivotal rounds as the 2025 Supercars season heats up.
A Familiar Foundation with a Fresh Twist
The livery retains the clean, aggressive lines of the traditional DEWALT scheme but trades the black-and-yellow palette for Cub Cadet’s signature yellow — a nod to the brand’s powerful outdoor equipment and mower range.
The 2025 Cub Cadet Racing livery was brought to life by renowned motorsport designer Nick Moss, painted using PPG materials and applied in-house by Team 18’s own Mitch Croke with support from Graphic Art Mart.
This marks Cub Cadet’s second appearance as a primary sponsor on the Team 18 Camaro after successful campaigns at Tasmania, Sandown and the Gold Coast in 2024.
Strategic Timing for Spring Campaign
With the launch of Cub Cadet’s 2025 spring range underway, the timing of the new livery provides an ideal platform to promote the brand’s presence across more than 230 retail partners around Australia — many of whom are loyal Supercars fans.
“It’s fantastic to have Cub Cadet back on board as naming rights partner for three huge events at Ipswich, the Gold Coast and Sandown,” said Team Owner Charlie Schwerkolt.
“As we head into spring, it’s the perfect time to showcase their leading range of outdoor equipment when people are getting back into their gardens.
“The Cub Cadet Chevy looks sensational — hopefully it stays on the black stuff and doesn’t cut any actual grass!”
De Pasquale: Ready to Hit the Ground Running
Anton De Pasquale heads into Ipswich seventh in the Supercars Championship standings after back-to-back podium finishes in Darwin and Townsville.
“The Cub Cadet Chevy looks fantastic,” said De Pasquale. “It’s a clean, simple design, very similar to our DEWALT livery but the yellow really pops and gives it a fresh identity.
“It looks just like one of their mowers — though I’m hoping I won’t have to test its grass-cutting abilities!
“We’ve had a strong relationship with Stanley Black & Decker over the last ten years, so it’s cool to see Cub Cadet join the program again after the success of last year’s campaign.
“We’re working hard at the workshop to roll out strong and lock ourselves into a solid position ahead of the enduros.”
Brand Synergy Across the Grid
Matt Francis, Partnerships & Activation Manager at Stanley Black & Decker, highlighted the value of the Supercars partnership in promoting their family of brands.
“It’s that time of year where we get to show off another of our fantastic brands,” said Francis.
“Coming into the spring season, it’s a great opportunity to showcase the Cub Cadet brand and provide some great deals to our distributors and customers.
“Cub Cadet has enjoyed the visibility on the car over the past two years now, but it is also great to partner with Anton all throughout the year with branding on his helmet this year.”
A Big Finish to Come
While Cub Cadet takes naming rights for Ipswich, the Gold Coast and Sandown, DEWALT will return to the spotlight for the remaining endurance rounds at The Bend and the iconic Bathurst 1000, as well as the season finale in Adelaide.
Team 18 continues to work behind the scenes to deliver strong results for its partners, and with the championship entering a critical stretch, all eyes will be on De Pasquale and the eye-catching Cub Cadet Camaro as it hits the track in Ipswich.
