ZF has expanded its Australian [pro]Service network, with BDM Heavy Vehicle Repairs and JME Engineering extending their existing agreements to include driveline and transmission support for bus and truck fleets.
Both businesses were already WABCO technology partners and will now provide manufacturer-backed service for ZF driveline products across their respective coverage areas in New South Wales.
The expansion gives fleet operators greater access to ZF diagnostics, training, technical expertise and repair information, with the aim of helping commercial vehicle customers improve uptime and keep vehicles on the road.
Damon Baffico, Head of Sales CV AM and OE Trailer Oceania at ZF, said the move reflected the strength of ZF’s relationships with its workshop partners.
“The continued expansion of our [pro]Service network across Australia highlights the depth of collaboration we have with our partners,” said Baffico.
“When established businesses such as BDM Heavy Vehicle Repairs and JME Engineering choose to upgrade their agreements with us, it reflects their confidence in the support, training and technical expertise that ZF provides.
“Together, we are building a stronger national service network — one that delivers consistent, manufacturer-backed expertise and helps fleet operators maximise uptime wherever they operate.”
BDM Heavy Vehicle Repairs was established in 2008 as a one-person mobile workshop and has since grown into a team of 11. The business services customers across the NSW mid-North Coast, supporting owner-drivers through to large fleet operators.
It also operates as a Mack, Volvo and UD service centre, providing contract maintenance and warranty repairs.
JME Engineering has been operating since 1999 and is based in the Illawarra, one of NSW’s key transport regions. The business employs 25 full-time specialists across mechanical repairs, auto electrical work, metal fabrication, spray painting, sandblasting and WABCO-trained truck and trailer brake services.
ZF [pro]Service is the next-generation workshop concept developed by ZF Aftermarket to support commercial vehicle workshops as technology and fleet requirements continue to evolve.
The program combines the former ZF Service Point and WABCO Service Partner programs into a single global platform. It provides partner workshops with access to diagnostics, technical training, warranty authorisation, marketing support and ZF technical specialists.
ZF said the addition of driveline and transmission support at BDM Heavy Vehicle Repairs and JME Engineering further strengthens its national service footprint.
Globally, the ZF [pro]Service network includes more than 3,300 partners, with more than 30 located across Australia.
