FOTON Australia has unveiled its first flagship Commercial Vehicle Centre in Penrith, giving its light duty trucks and light commercial vehicles a dedicated showroom and aftersales destination.
The existing Inchcape FOTON Penrith dealership has been refurbished to reflect the brand’s latest global identity. Inchcape says the site will set the standard for future FOTON dealerships as it expands its Australian network.
For truck operators, the investment puts the focus on more than the vehicles in the showroom. Dealer coverage, parts and aftersales support are central to keeping commercial vehicles working, and FOTON is positioning the Penrith centre as a showcase for those capabilities.
“It gives customers a place to experience FOTON’s products and technology, while providing the people and aftersales support they need throughout their ownership journey,” said Blair Read, Managing Director of Inchcape Australasia.
Glen Cooper, General Manager of FOTON Australia, said the company was investing in new products, its dealer network and aftersales capability. He said the Penrith site would serve as a benchmark as the network grows.
FOTON Australia became the local distributor for the brand in 2024. The new centre marks another step in its effort to build a stronger presence in Australia’s commercial vehicle market.
