NTI took centre stage at the 2025 Brisbane Truck Show in May, showcasing not only its industry leadership in transport and logistics insurance but also its deep commitment to community causes and road safety. Speaking before the event, NTI’s Chief Customer Officer Janelle Greene reflected on the company’s long-standing involvement with the show and why it remains such an important event on the calendar.
“We’re platinum sponsor of the Brisbane Truck Show, and have been for a number of years,” Greene said. “We just see it as really a way to connect with the industry and celebrate the industry.”
That celebration was on full display at NTI’s dual stand setup. One featured the company’s insurance and risk solutions, while the other was dedicated to the launch of the annual NTI MND Research Raffle, with employees selling tickets for the 2025 prize – a Toyota Tundra and New Age Manta Ray caravan.
Greene emphasised the value of bringing NTI’s whole team into the event. “We try to have as many people as possible from the NTI head office go,” she said. “It’s a great way for our employees to connect with the industry and talk to customers – whether it’s our IT team, marketing teams, or finance. Some of the teams that maybe aren’t day to day talking to customers can get out there, sell raffle tickets, and chat to the people who are keeping Australia moving.”
The Brisbane Truck Show also gave NTI an opportunity to engage with transport operators, suppliers, and other stakeholders face to face. “We get to see our customers, we get to see our suppliers, we get to connect with the industry,” Greene said. “We get to see the emerging trends and technology that is unfolding – whether it’s in safety, whether it’s in alternative fuel.”
For Greene, the show isn’t just about trucks – it’s about the people who keep the nation running. “I’m really proud to work for the transport and logistics industry of Australia,” she said. “We’re getting groceries, pharmaceuticals, important items, as well as my purchases from my own retail shopping therapy to and from the people of Australia.”
Having attended many truck shows during her time at NTI, Greene has seen the event evolve. “I’ve gone to quite a lot of truck shows now, and it’s changed in such a big way. There’s a really good vibe,” she said.
That spirit of connection, pride, and shared purpose is what keeps NTI coming back and playing a leading role. “The truck and transport industry wants to be part of that contribution to safety and sustainability. We’re proud to be part of the economy and the community,” Greene said.
From celebrating innovation to fundraising for medical research, NTI’s presence at the Brisbane Truck Show was a reminder of the company’s belief that good business and good community outcomes go hand in hand.
