The Australian Trucking Association (ATA) has officially opened nominations for its prestigious technical and training awards ahead of the 2025 Technology and Maintenance Conference (TMC25) in Melbourne.

Craig Roseneder Award – win a trip to the US
The Craig Roseneder Award recognises outstanding technical and maintenance excellence by an individual working in a workshop.
The 2025 winner will receive a fully paid trip to the 2026 Technology and Maintenance Council Annual Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee, including:
- Full registration
- Return airfares
- Accommodation
- AUD $1,500 spending money

- Dennis Roohan – AJM Transport
New-look Training Excellence Award – $7,000 prize
This year, the National Training Excellence Award has been refreshed to better recognise transport operators that embed training and safety in their business culture.
The winner will receive a $7,000 prize package, which can be used to fund staff training initiatives or engage a specialist training consultancy.
Whether you’re a large national fleet or a regional operator, this is your opportunity to demonstrate leadership in skills development and continuous improvement.

- Winners announced: Wednesday 15 October 2025 at the Castrol Gala Awards Dinner, San Remo Ballroom, Melbourne
Also announced on the night will be the Castrol Industry Achievement Award, recognising individuals or organisations who have delivered new technologies or improved industry safety, efficiency or productivity. This award does not require a nomination.
