ZF Aftermarket has launched ZF [pro]Service, a next-generation workshop concept designed to future-proof commercial vehicle workshops by combining technical expertise, diagnostic training, and access to ZF’s broad product portfolio.
The program brings together the previously separate ZF Service Point and WABCO Service Partner concepts into a unified platform that supports workshops across trucks, buses, and trailers.
Supporting Workshop Readiness
Commercial vehicle operators rely on workshops not only for parts but also for accurate diagnostics and timely repairs. ZF [pro]Service addresses this by offering:
- Comprehensive technical support for ZF driveline and WABCO brake systems.
- Training modules tailored for trucks, buses, and trailers.
- Product support across premium ZF brands including LEMFÖRDER (steering and suspension), SACHS (clutches and shock absorbers), and TRW (brakes).
“With ZF [pro]Service, ZF is empowering commercial vehicle workshops to prepare for the future. From a single source, workshops can now have access to the complete ZF range, diagnostics, training, and technical support to enable them to maximise uptime,” said Damon Baffico, Head of Sales CV AM and OE Trailer Oceania at ZF.
Fleet-Relevant Benefits
For fleet managers, the value of ZF [pro]Service lies in:
- Reduced downtime: With workshops trained and equipped to handle the full ZF portfolio, repairs are faster and more accurate.
- Warranty coverage: Authorised [pro]Service partners can carry out warranty work on ZF components, giving fleets peace of mind.
- Retrofit solutions: From trailer connectivity to cornering assistance systems, ZF technology can be retrofitted to existing vehicles, extending fleet safety and compliance.
- Marketing support: ZF backs its [pro]Service partners with visibility through signage, advertising, and the ZF partner finder portal – making it easier for fleet operators to identify approved workshops.
Training as a Competitive Edge
A cornerstone of the program is its training offer, available both online and in-person. Sessions are aimed at technicians, managers, and business owners, ensuring that workshops remain at the forefront of commercial vehicle servicing.
“By attending training sessions, our partners will have the best access to ZF technical information and parts, equipping them to service the full ZF product portfolio – a clear competitive advantage in the fleet business,” continued Baffico.
Growing Network
Globally, the ZF [pro]Service network includes more than 3,300 partners. In Australia, there are already over 30 workshops operating under the program, with more businesses expected to join.
For commercial vehicle operators, this means improved access to trained workshops capable of supporting the full suite of ZF technologies, ensuring that fleets remain compliant, safe, and efficient.
