IVECO has strengthened its Australian dealer network with the appointment of two new full-line dealerships, providing customers in the Northern Territory and New South Wales’ Illawarra region with improved access to sales, service and parts support across the brand’s complete commercial vehicle range.
The new dealerships, Darwin IVECO and Illawarra IVECO, will offer support for the entire IVECO line-up, from Daily vans and light trucks through to Eurocargo medium-duty models and S-Way heavy-duty prime movers. The appointments increase IVECO’s national network to 55 locations, including service and parts outlets.
Strong Presence in the Northern Territory
Darwin IVECO operates from a purpose-built facility at Pinelands and is part of the Heath Motor Group, led by long-time automotive industry professional Aaron Heath. The dealership features four heavy vehicle workshop bays, five light vehicle bays, factory-trained technicians and the latest diagnostic equipment to support customers across the region.
Additional facilities include a large parts warehouse, wash bay, customer lounge and courtesy bus service. The dealership also brings experience from operating other commercial vehicle franchises, providing valuable industry knowledge for local operators.
Darwin IVECO General Manager Ashley Uridge said the business had already received strong interest from customers.
“We see a lot of opportunities with IVECO – the model line-up is proven and products like the Daily and the Daily 4×4 are a big drawcard, as are its medium Eurocargo and heavy-duty S-Way ranges,” said Uridge.
He added that the dealership was focused on supporting customers throughout the entire vehicle lifecycle, including body building advice and assistance navigating heavy vehicle compliance requirements.
Expanded Support for Illawarra Operators
In New South Wales, Illawarra IVECO has transitioned from a service and parts operation to a full-line dealership. Part of the Tony White Group, the dealership now offers sales, service and parts support from two sites in Albion Park.
Dealer Principal Kurt Hofer said the decision reflected growing confidence in the IVECO product range.
“I’ve been watching IVECO over the last five years in particular and have been impressed by the quality and breadth of the range across all weight classes,” Hofer said.
“The line-up features the latest technologies, they’re comfortable, and very nice to drive and operate – I can only see the brand becoming stronger and stronger within the commercial vehicle market.”
Illawarra IVECO offers a 14-bay service facility staffed by factory-trained technicians, a truck-sized spray booth, wash bay, mobile servicing capability and a 24-hour breakdown service. The dealership also operates an internal call centre to maintain regular contact with customers and gather feedback following service interactions.
Supporting Growth Across Key Regions
IVECO ANZ Managing Director Glen Dyer said the appointments would strengthen the company’s ability to support customers in two strategically important regions.
“IVECO Australia is delighted to have the teams at Darwin and Illawarra join our network family as full line dealerships,” Dyer said.
He noted that Darwin IVECO would help support operators across a vast geographical area stretching from Darwin through the Kimberley and south towards Alice Springs, while Illawarra IVECO would strengthen the brand’s presence in a region experiencing growth across traditional industries, advanced manufacturing and service sectors.
The expanded network comes as IVECO continues to offer one of the broadest commercial vehicle portfolios in Australia, spanning light, medium and heavy-duty segments, as well as specialised off-road applications. The company is also advancing alternative fuel and zero-emission technologies, including local trials of its battery-electric eDaily with Australian fleets.
