Hino Australia has recognised the top performers across its national dealer network at the 2025 Hino Dealer of the Year Awards held in Sydney.
CMI Hino Adelaide (SA) claimed the Metropolitan Dealer of the Year title for the sixth time, while Newcastle Hino (NSW) secured the Regional Dealer of the Year award for the fifth time.
Richard Emery, President and CEO of Hino Australia, said the awards highlight the strong performance delivered by dealers across the network.
“Each year, the Dealer of the Year Awards provide an opportunity to acknowledge the collective efforts of our dealer network, particularly those that have delivered outstanding results whether it be in sales, parts, service or customer satisfaction,” said Emery.
“Hino Australia’s nationwide network of over 60 dealerships delivers a customer-first approach to sales and aftersales, supporting both new and existing customers,” he said.
Emery said CMI Hino Adelaide had again delivered a consistently strong performance across multiple areas of the business.
“CMI Hino Adelaide has again demonstrated a consistently high level of performance, and this recognition reflects the team’s focus on quality, professionalism and customer satisfaction,” he said.
“Newcastle Hino’s Regional Dealer of the Year award highlights the strength of its operations, especially in the sales area, and the dedication of its team to delivering strong outcomes for their customers.”
CMI Hino Adelaide General Manager Nathan Chatfield said the award reflected the resilience and collaboration of the dealership’s team during a challenging year.
“Additionally, this award, and the others we have received tonight, are testament to the strength of our CMI Adelaide Hino team – 2025 was one of the most difficult years we have faced, and we have shown how much we can achieve working together.
“I’m exceptionally proud of all of the CMI Hino Adelaide team,” he said.
In addition to the metropolitan dealer title, CMI Hino Adelaide also secured Sales Excellence (Metro), Parts Excellence (Metro) and Service Excellence (Metro) awards, and received the President’s Award for the fifth consecutive year.
Newcastle Hino Dealer Principal Sean Lynch said collaboration across the Hino dealer network had helped lift standards across the industry.
“We’re part of an outstanding dealer network here in Australia – over the past few years, we’ve supported one another, shared ideas, and pushed each other to be better. This collaboration makes awards like this even more meaningful,” Lynch said.
“To my team back at Newcastle Hino — this belongs to you. You don’t win Dealer of the Year without an exceptional team, and I am incredibly fortunate to lead one.
“You work hard, you work together, and you show up every day with professionalism and pride. I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved.”
